Unexpected delights in a classic spot
Woke up to strong coffee and fresh pastries. The warm smiles from the staff felt genuine, adding so much charm to the traditional decor of the hotel.
The bathroom needed better upkeep—the lack of towels and overall cleanliness detracted from the experience. I also found the elevator out of service during my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Oscar. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my requests. The breakfast buffet was delightful, featuring freshly made pastries and a variety of drinks that set my day off to a wonderful start.
Some areas need improvement.

The room had a nice layout that allowed for a bit of space, which was a welcome contrast to the more cramped options I've encountered in similar places. WiFi was supposed to be available throughout, which could come in handy if it actually worked consistently.
Unfortunately, the hot water supply was out for a week, which made for some uncomfortable showers. I also came back to find my room hadn’t been cleaned a couple of times during my stay, which was frustrating. The lift was out of order, requiring inconvenient stair-climbing, and the furniture was outdated and could use a refresh to match the price tag. Breakfast options were very limited, leaving much to be desired. it felt like a 4-star experience with a 2-star execution.

I loved my stay, especially the comfy king-size bed and the beautiful view from the 5th floor balcony. The indoor pool was perfect for relaxing, and the lounge area was a great spot to unwind. The elevators were a bit quirky, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 😊

Not worth the hype
The location was pretty easy to get to, and our room had a decent view. The best part was the buffet breakfast. I loved the fresh pastries. But the Wi-Fi was super spotty, which was kinda frustrating. Honestly, I expected way more for what I paid. Just feels like they are missing the little touches.

The location is excellent, allowing easy access to major attractions. The room was spacious and clean, which was a plus. Breakfast offered a good variety, including satisfying vegetarian options. the hotel staff charged more than initially booked, citing a currency discrepancy, and the state of the rooms left much to be desired, with visible wear and tear, such as peeling paint and exposed wires. while there are some redeeming qualities, the experience fell short due to these significant issues.
